Florio is a brand that evokes the splendour of the Belle Époque Sicily and the family who revolutionized the island’s culture and economy. Ship-owners, merchants and patrons, Florios have always engaged in tuna fishing and processing, by turning the tuna-fishing net in Favignana into a true modern and innovative cannery.
As passionate as the business founder, the subsequent generations kept on processing yellowfin tunas.
Florio fillets are still a legend in Sicily. We tried them, tasted them and fell in love with them. They are hand-cut for canning in order to ensure the firmness and integrity of each fillet.
From 2018 towards the future
What do we have in common with Florio?
Attention to good products and their traditional recipes, attention to local communities and certified quality. That is why in 2018 we bought the rights to distributing Florio products in Italy.
